| Ye Olde Jewellery Company, Ltd., was begun by two native Illinoisans approximately 25 years ago while living in New Jersey. Transferred back to the Chicago area in l982 they brought their business back with them where it has grown and prospered. Unlike many "estate jewelry" dealers, their inventory primarily consists of Victorian, Edwardian, and Art Deco, with a few pieces from the '40's. All jewelry is checked and authenticated and is guaranteed to be as sold. Stones are checked and weights are carefully estimated and noted on the jewelry tags and receipts. Gold content is also checked and noted. Every part on an earring is checked as there are times when a wire or post may be a different karat than the rest of the earring. Everything is guaranteed. Ye Olde Jewellery Company exhibits their jewelry at select antique shows in the Chicago area. | ||||||||
